We'll miss you Dr. Cross...
The staff at CrossVeterinaryClinic wishes Dr. Cross' family heartfelt condolences during this time. He touched the lives of so many in the Flint Community and will be sorely missed by us all.
You may have heard about physicians
utilizing lasers to perform surgical procedures
on their patients. This technology is now being
used by the veterinary community.
The benefits
of using a laser are many and include less bleeding,
less scarring, less recovery time, and most importantly
less pain, which also allows for smaller, safer
doses of anesthesia during surgery. If you have
any questions about the benefits of laser surgery
for your pet, please don’t hesitate to
contact
us.
After-Hour Emergencies
Should you need assistance
after our normal business hours, please call
our clinic at (810) 606-1199 and follow the answering
service prompts for assistance.
Overnight Monitoring
You’ll be happy to know that all our scheduled
surgery patients are monitored during the evening
by either Cassie or Rosanna, our overnight
Licensed Veterinary Technicians. If at anytime
during the evening a pet seems uncomfortable
or distressed, they are instructed to contact
one of our veterinarians
immediately. You will also be given a phone number
by which you can reach either Cassie of Rosanna
at anytime during the evening to check
on your pet. Many clients are surprised to learn
that this is a service that very few veterinary
hospitals offer. Because
we are committed to offering your pet the best
care possible, we think this service is essential.
Ultrasound
Dr. Fleming has a special interest in radiology
and ultrasound techniques. He enjoys attending continuing education
seminars that allow him to keep up to date on
the most current knowledge regarding this skill. He also has the
ability to send pictures, via the internet, that he captures
on our ultrasound machine to Board Certified Radiologists
for further consultation and review (this procedure is called
Telemedicine).
